I’ve been going hair tutorial crazy these last couple of weeks.  It’s amazing what a difference a good quality camera will make.  It’s been so fun filming and editing them.  This is my favorite way to wear a fishtail braid by far.  I love any common hairstyle that has a little something different/unique about it.  You just can’t go wrong with a simple side braid, or a fishtail braid with a twist.

So I’ve been watching lots of Breakfast At Tiffany’s lately, as well as quite a few Gene Kelley movies (he’s my favorite actor by the way, I was raised on his films).  And I’ll see it does wonders to the way you feel throughout the week when the shows your watching aren’t full of vulgar or crude humor (The Office—I love you, but sometimes when I take a step back I realize how inappropriate it can be lol) and strong language.  I feel a little more intelligent…that’s the only way I can think to describe it.  I mean Breakfast At Tiffany’s isn’t exactly what I would tell girls to model themselves after, and then there is the awkward bar scene (which even that in today’s world is mild)  Anyway, what I’m saying is I’ve really enjoyed taking a break from all of the violent, vulgar, scandalous movies and shows out there, that are often quite depressing.  Hello, here’s a film about how my life fell apart because my husband cheated, now I’m cheating on my boyfriend, and oh the kids are having a hard time and it’s breaking their hearts, but we don’t pay attention because I’m unrealistically skinny and beautiful, so it makes everything ok. Talk about sad.  I mean I never watch super scandalous stuff anyway, I’ve never seen Fifty Shades of Gray (and NEVER will) but even a little bit of something viewed frequently can start to bear down on your mind, and soul. So maybe try taking a break, and watching HAPPY, MUSICAL, or FAMILY FRIENDLY films for a bit.  Guarantee you’ll feel a little better about yourself.

Hope ya’ll have a wonderful rest of your day!  Thanks for reading
