Hapé | The Sacred Medicine from the Amazon Rainforest
Uses & Benefits

Hapé (ha-PAY), also known as rapé or rapeh, has been a revered indigenous plant medicine used for centuries by Amazonian tribes. It is a finely powdered blend of various medicinal plants, often combined with ashes and occasionally tobacco (in its purest non-addictive, non toxic form).
It is traditionally administered through a “Tepi” or “Kuripe” (blowpipe) sending the powdered mixture into the nostrils.
Hapé is not a mind altering substance nor a recreational substance; it is a sacred and intentional medicine used for various purposes.
It is legal in the United States and most other countries.

*This medicine is to be used with “intention” and its primiary focus to to cultivate connection with the earth, one’s self, and ancestors.

  1. Physical Healing: Hapé can help with various physical conditions, such as sinus congestion, headaches,  some respiratory issues, and even menstration.  It may also support detoxification processes in the body.
  2. Mental Clarity: Many individuals report enhanced mental clarity, focus, and a sense of grounding after a Hapé session. It can help release mental blockages and promote emotional well-being.
  3. Spiritual Connection: Hapé has profound spiritual and shamanic qualities, facilitating a deeper connection to the self, ancestors and the universe. It can enhance spiritual sensetivity, leading to insights and personal revelations.
  4. Emotional Release: Hapé can aid in the release of suppressed emotions, providing an opportunity for healing and personal growth. It can help individuals confront and process past traumas.

*The immediate effects of  Hapé last for 10-20 minutes, but the detoxing can continue for 24 hours, this might manifest in a dull headache, nausea etc.

What to expect in a Hapé session

  1. Consultation: We will begin with a consultation to understand your intentions, any specific issues you wish to address, and your overall well-being.
  2. Preparation: You will be guided on how to prepare for the Hapé experience, including setting intentions and creating a calm, safe space.
  3. Administration: The Hapé blend will be administered by me, using a tepi. This process is gentle and respectful, ensuring your comfort throughout.
  4. Meditation and Integration: After the Hapé is administered, you will have the opportunity to meditate and reflect on your experience. I will support you in the integration of any insights or emotions that arise.
  5. Follow-Up: Though the immediate effects only last 10-20 minutes, you may still continue to detox emotionally & physically.  Your well being is valued, and I will be available for follow-up support and guidance as you process your Hapé experience.
